Resources Tools that you must have to optimize your blog

6 comments Buzz Here

This is my old post but i decided to re-post them because my brother ask me about SEO and i thought he already knew about this because he's been blogging for quite a while -- so, i hope this help you aswell. We value our blog so much we ask question on how to optimize, how to get link, how to get more visibility from search engine and follow some tips about search engine optimization. No matter what the purpose of our blog either personal blog, share our interest, or we want to earn easy money, we still need to go more deeper and understanding is the big part of blogging. We need to know the in and out of our own blog site.

I have here a must interactive tools that help you understand more the needs of your blog site, this tools don't provide you an optimization per se, but this will check on the results of your optimization efforts.

Marketleap - provides an integrated set of optimization check, this is free to use and you will be able to check the three below:
  1. Link Popularity - which checks the number of incoming links to your blog/site. As we know this is one of the major key to get higher page rank.
  2. Search Engine Saturation - simply refers to the number of pages a given search engine has in its index for your website domain. This show you a graph pf how much is your search engine saturation...mostly can be used for search engine marketing campaigns.
  3. Keyword Verification - You can verify your site placement with the top search engines and directories, It's important to be in the top 3 pages of a search result because most people using search engines don't go past the 3rd page.....Make sure to use the keyword for checking is something you want to be found for (One of the keyword you put on your meta tag example: make money, earn easy money etc....).
Link Popularity Checker - This is an alternative to the marketleap. It going to show you the 5 search engines which is Google, MSN, AllTheWeb, Altavista and Teoma (Instead of Hotbot -- compare to the market leap).

Other resources which you can use to learn about optimization are forums to where the webmasters hang out and helping each other, tackle some issues and which much more focused on SEO and give more information. Sites where you can get more tips and read an articles where can help you learn more about optimization.

Webmasterworld and SearchEngineWorld- News and discussion and articles.
SEOConsultants - You will find various information about SEO including tips and tricks, Tutorials.

Understanding SEO is much more better than know nothing at all. When we blog we "DIY" our blog especially when we just start learning about blogging until the time that you are making enough money to pay for consultancy and professionals to Optimize you blog this resources are great tool to understand more and work more to get the high page rank and increase your site visibility.

I hope this help you in many way ... it does for me, i now know what particular keyword really put me at the first page of the SERP (Search Engine Result Page) when i use "make money" it did not put me in the search result but when i used the earn easy money this brings me at the first page of top 4 search engine results. Now i need to work on the other part of my optimization such as page saturation.

Time to make money again, SocialSpark is open for business

0 comments Buzz Here
Izea the parent of PayPerPost have done it again, SocialSpark is another way for blogger to earn extra money.

Ted Murphy the founder of Izea has posted in the Izea Boards "You are free to speak your mind"
Now that the cat is out of the bag you are all free to speak your mind here, on your blog, at the water cooler, at the beach... wherever. If you have something to say about SocialSpark have at it. We still have a ton of things we are working on but the framework for what I believe to be a revolutionary new platform is there.
I got an email awhile ago inviting me to join socialspark as always i got curious especially when it comes with new opportunities and to cut the long story, i joined (I am glad!).

What is SocialSpark?
I want to make it as short as possible it's a "Social Networking for bloggers and advertisers" there, i don't think it's short enough :) I am not really good into social networking, but this is different from what we have known social networking. It's a matchmaking between blogger and advertisers. I remember when i visited Izea boards there is a Postie Den and Advertiser Den from there advertiser and postie can communicate. SocialSpark put both advertiser and blogger in the same level.

Advertisers
As part of the network you can see the statistics of a certain blogger. The open analytics platform of SocialSpark helps the advertiser to see the actual traffic and demographic data of blog you sponsor. Name you price and you can decide if you accept the bloggers request or not. It more of interaction between you and the blogger (Communication is always a key of greater relationship).

Bloggers
It's you time to show off your content, your readers, your traffic and give as much information as you can about your blog. Every link in your post is no follow, meaning you are safe from Google. You are required to put a disclosure badge in your post of you don;t get paid (Fair enough!)

SocialSpark Code of Ethic
100% tranparency - Every participants is viewable from advertiser to blogger even Ted Murphy.

100% Real Opinions - Speak your mind or blog your mind. It's in the advertisers agreement that bloggers or the approved bloggers are free to say anything about the brand or product, no restriction if the product or service is ugly or not that helpful say it. This makes the post unique and un-bias

100% Audit-able In-Post Disclosure
- Strict Full disclosure. Badge should be place or you won't get paid. This is to comply the disclosure requirements of
FTC and WOMMA guidelines.

In the press released made by Izea:
"SocialSpark's disclosure requirements exceed the WOMMA-approved Code of Ethics for human disclosure and the Google-approved quality guidelines for machine disclosure," said Murphy. "In fact, SocialSpark offers the industry's only audit tool for advertisers needing to manage social marketing disclosure in accordance with corporate, government, industry or search engine disclosure guidelines."
100% Search Engine Friendly - We all love this. After the Google fiasco which hurts many of the postie, SocialSpark is designed to protect both advertiser and bloggers.

My Conclusion:
As much as i love PPP because it helps me pay my bills, i find it very favorable with SocialSpark. So far i am happy with the system and service they provide, have not seen any negative yet! and i hope it stays that way. Ted Murphy and the whole team of Izea and not to forget the advertisers should be given a credit for helping the D-list blogger earn the extra amount of money. If you have not joined yet, then now is your time...i know you don't want to be miss out of this great opportunity

Addendum: You can treat PPP and SocialSpark as two separate way to earn money, meaning you can now double your earning whenever you can.

Step on how to Create your Contact Page and navigation button

0 comments Buzz Here

There is always a comparison between Wordpress and Blogspot, this two are the most attractive platform for the beginners. I suggest to to do some research of what really suites you needs which is much more better because its a lot of work involve if you decided to change from one platform to another.
Most of the bloggers likes to use Wordpress because of the plug-ins that they have offered to the bloggers, including the better looking themes and the capability to make another pages such as about, contact etc...

Blogspot in the other hand, is the easiest platform to use it's a user friendly free hosting -- click and drop and you set but compare to WP their are no plugins that you can use and added to make your blogging much more better you can't even make another page for your contact form and about me page.

Blogspot users don't need to worry about making your own contact and about me page anymore. If you have noticed i have my navigation page now thanks to Technicallyeasy.net for he's "how to's" which is very useful for every blogspot users.

Here's the step on how to Create your Contact Page and navigation button
  1. Before you start to make your contact page...Follow the "How not to show your Post Date when you make your about me page" first which is really quick and easy, then after you can come back here and follow the rest of the instructions of how to create a contact form and navigation button for your blog.
  2. When your done step 1, You need a contact form -- if you click my contact page you will see that i am using Kontactr because this is the form that works very well with my template structure. You can Register and when your done confirming your registration, choose Embed Widget - AJAX (this is the easy to use for blogspot users, Make sure you follow the Technicallyeasy instruction when making a static like page).
When your done with step 2, It's time to work on your navigation button for your site.

  • Add some code to the style section of your blog templatePress CTRL+F key then type </b:skin>
  • Copy and paste the style code below just before the closing tag of </b:skin> ul#navlist
{
margin-left: 0;
padding-left: 0;
white-space: nowrap;
}

#navlist li
{
display: inline;
list-style-type: none;
}

#navlist a { padding: 3px 10px; }

#navlist a:link, #navlist a:visited
{
color: #fff;
background-color: #036;
text-decoration: none;
}

#navlist a:hover
{
color: #fff;
background-color: #369;
text-decoration: none;
}

You can change the background color to blend with your site color. You can pick the color you want from this hexadecimal color code.

Create your links -- Javascript Widget
Below is the code you can place in your page element. In your Dashboard, click layout then page element choose javascript then paste the HTML code below.

<div id="navcontainer">
<ul id="navlist">
<li id="active"><a href="#" id="current">Item one</a></li>
<li><a href="#">Item two</a></li>
<li><a href="#">Item three</a></li>
<li><a href="#">Item four</a></li>
<li><a href="#">Item five</a></li>
</ul>
</div>

Please don't forget to replace:
  • # - replace with the post page (Contact page or about page)
  • Item One - Page TitleYour
Done!

You have now a contact page and a more attractive clickable navigation button for your site.

Why is it important to leave blog comment

3 comments Buzz Here

Before, when i just started blogging i don't bother leaving any comments. I am so busy looking at my site. I have read a lot of blog but i did not bother leaving a comment i couldn't be bothered "Why bother anyway?". There are times where i type a comment but i change my mind and leave the site without posting it, this happens many time.

I have posted about "your post don't get comments, should we blame droppers?" last week and the response are incredible. I have read a lot of reasons why our fellow blogger not leave a comment, i supposedly will post all the great comment but i have a little problem at the moment with my comment system and i cannot locate the rest of the comments; I am hopeful that it will be fixed soon, i am glad i have one comment from Rachel of bakedblog.com which i would like to share -- this is what she say:
Rachel: I don't drop and comment on every blog I visit. Either one because their latest post doesn't offer me a good chance to post a comment. On some topics I have nothing to say, or because I just don't have the time.

However if I find a blog to be useful and have good content I usually stop and say something such as yours. I even made a post about this on the entrecard forums called drop and comment.

I would rather have a comment from someone who has something to say instead of someone who just feels obligated. I don't really care too much what entrecard does to my bounce rate, although it hasn't been good. I just like the fact that my blog is getting out there more.

I totally agree with Rachel. This is just an introduction because i want to share how i get people commented in my site and i hope that this will work with you aswell, i don't see why this can't. Aside from posting a post that are worth reading, we also need to go out and promote our blog.

Why is it important to leave comment?
This is important, in this world give and take still exist and still very useful tool. I am not saying to be oblige of leaving a comment because that contradict with what i just agreed from Rachel's comment "On some topics I have nothing to say", but be sure you leave comment everyday. When you comment even just one blog everyday this leaves a trail of you. Most of the time i noticed when i leave a comment, the blog owner visit my blog as well and leave a comment not a crappy one but genuine comment (They return the favor sort of thing) although we all know it does not work that way but it's a good gesture and good start of good relationship with your readers and vice versa.

Although, there are times some blogger where you leave a comment in there site and have not returned the favor that is because of some reasons, they might have nothing to say (Been this situation too!).

U comment, I follow
Many blogger have now removed their no follow code, you can read my post about "Now that no follow has been removed, Sip that link Juice" this explains that when you leave a comment you get a little bit of that juice which is a big help for your PR and Technorati Authority. Most blogger laterally follow their readers to their site and do the same, they leave their comments.

It's a Blog Promotion
When you leave a comment, you are leaving a trail. Most of the comment system now will automatically grab your latest post, and that is another exposure of your post. Usually, when i leave a comment i read the comment of others, i learned from other comments too! and sometimes i click their names to know who is behind the great comment, i am sure i am not the only one doing this because i have read some discussions and that shows that other commenter's are reading someone Else's comments too, and this is another exposure.

One important reason why we leave a comment to other blog is the same reason why we drop our Entrecards to get traffic, to get known and to get readers. This is just a simple way of promotion. We even read almost every bloggers tips to do this and that! and yet we still under estimate and did not take advantage the power of leaving comments.

You Benefits, I Benefits
My practice is this, Since i drop card and open blog site's why not read there blogs and leave a comment (This is to the blogs that i find interesting), i benefited and the blog site where i read the post and commented gets the benefits as well -- It's a win, win situation.

I can say that the comments we get in our site depends on the comments we left in the other sites. I don't know if you agree with me, but if not please say your mind and start the discussion.

Bloggers: Change your comment system for better

0 comments Buzz Here

How much do you love discussion? What about reading and answering comments? I love reading comments...i am always excited to see if someone commenting on my post, sometimes when i am reading someone else's post i read the comments of other people aswell but there's one thing that attract my attention most of the time especially the WP users and would like to have in my blog and that is the comment form.

I was trying the hack that jackbook have in he's blog but i have problem looking at the code in my html, i cannot place the code. While dropping i came across one blog, i can't remember anymore what site is that, if i can, then i can give the site a link love for bringing me to Disqus.com

What is Disqus?
This is a third party comment system. At the moment you are probably using the comment system of Blogger or WP; Disqus.com can make your comments more interactive to your readers, they are not just leaving a comment but instead as participant of the discussion, there are few extra widget that you can add to your site to give an additional information to your reader and so they can join your community, That's right your own community.

How it work?
Disqus.com will take your comment and save it to Disqus.com, they will then create a profile of your commenter. You commentators have an option aswell to claim it and so that they can have there own identity etc...but for better understanding i would like you to take a little tour, it's not going to take long but surely will give you the full idea.

There is an option of blog integration, you have an option to what platform is your blog belong to, WP, Bloggers, Typepad, Movable Type, Tumblr. or if you have the full knowledge of custom integration you can just copy the Javascript code, i choose the other option though it's less complicated. You can look at the buzz community page to give you the full idea and see if you like to switch your comment system to Disqus.com

Widgets to add to your blog:
  • Recent Comments - which gives you an option to show their avatar or not; X-small (24px) to X-large (128px)
  • Popular Threads
  • Top Commenters - Again an option of avatar and orientation which if you want them vertical or Horizontal.
  • Combination Widget - This is look like a view tab all the widgets are combined.
It's worth a try if you ask me. I love the system and Jason and Daniel Ha (Both founders are very approachable) I have some issue and they communicate professionally.

Google Analytic VS Entrecard - Do we have to compare?

0 comments Buzz Here
Traffic Result is what i am meaning here. Do you compare your Google Analytic traffic result with your Entrecard result?

I am so popular with Entrecard today it's my most successful day so far, i am even at the top 30 Popular Entrecarder; oh! i am so excited to see my Google Analytic and see what it say's -- then your analytic traffic sources overview the result is shocking it's below than what you expected; Sounds familiar?

Why does the Google analytic result is different?
In comparison with entrecard, Google analytic have a very different method of tracking visits to your page.
In Analytics, if a user comes to your site twice within thirty minutes without closing their browser, they'll register as one visit. Other web analytics solutions may treat this behavior as two visits, depending on their definitions.
Entrecard is per card drop.

I myself questioned this, i thought that Google analytic will be way more higher result since they track the whole visit including referring sites, search engine visits etc...but to my surprise it even have lesser than what's expected.

I have not deeply research the comparison about the two, but this explains that we cannot compare the result of our Entrecard result to Google Analytic, they used a very different methods of tracking our visits.

Your input is really important, if you want to add more please do so and start the discussion.

I have problems with my site; but, before i fixed it (Which is a very simple solution, argggh!) i made a lot of additional problem which ended me of changing template. Anyway, to credit my commenter about this topic i decided to post it here aswell so that the rest can follow the discussion.

Comments:
Jude: Google counts both, but if someone has several accounts and you are on all of their drop lists then however many times that person comes and drops they will be counted as only 1 unique visitor and they also lag behind other counters such as sitemeter and get clicky.

Haney: One thing I dont like about Entrecard is that, most visitors are not quality ones. That means most of them just skim through, not bothered to read or comment on what you had posted, and just drop their cards. That's how some can drop 300 cards per day.

Michael Aulia: That is something new to me :| I thought just by looking at the Entrecard traffic source in Analytics, will be equal to the total of Entrecard traffic that you got?

Guys, i am really sorry i lost the link to your site, if you can please give me your URL (Haney and Jude) so i can link to your site. I appreciate your time of commenting on my site and that is all i can do at least.

Funtagged

3 comments Buzz Here
Yesterday i was tagged by Stephan Miller. I think this is surely is fun, it's been awhile now that i have been tagged, the last time is the Technorati Train to boost my Technorati Authority. Now, I am really grateful with Entrecard, i have meet and read some great site which i should say that it's no longer just problogger or JohnChow anymore...there are some other sites that are worth of visiting, subscribing and even great to communicate with.

I am about to start my Entrecard dropping now, but before i do that let's do the funtagging first, Now here is the fun side, There are only 26 links, one for each of the letters of the alphabet. If a blog is hosted on it’s own domain, it’s listed after the letter the domain begins with. If it is a Wordpress.org or blogger blog, it can be listed after the name of the blog (i.e. mysuperblog.blogspot.com can be listed after M).

When you decide to join the game, you’ll have to follow these 3 simple rules:

  1. Copy all the links and replace a single link under the appropriate letter of the alphabet with yours - see an example above about the correct way to choose the letter. An explanation in your post about how to change the links will be nice as well!
  2. Put at the bottom of the list the replaced link and the full link to the tagger (meaning the link to the actual post where you got the list) - this ensures that you complied with the rule #1!
  3. You now have to “tag” at least five people and encourage them to take part of the game - tag blogs only and only those without bad rated material like pornographic, violence, racism etc.

My List:

Firefox add-ons that helps me with my dropping

4 comments Buzz Here
Entrecard is now part of our daily activity the moment we turn our computer on until the end of the day we are always dropping it's addicting it's great because it helps our site. If we work hard and drop religiously everyday our rank gets higher and higher, i see it fair for everyone. Work hard and you get the drop rank: Deeply committed - Deadly serious. A drop master.

Every Entrecarders have our own way of dropping, Some powerdropping, sitehoppin -- i have my post Drop 300 Entrecards Faster than you imagine, there are many new ways coming out just to drop our 300 cards everyday, Some reciprocate what's in there inbox, then drop all the top 3 site on each category and if there still have remaining card drop it to the recent entrecarders which i am recently doing, this is my tactics to earn better EC and get to the top rank.

All of this are not going to be easy without the tools that helps us which i have decided to share it to you, if you are not using this yet you might find it very useful because i do and use it every day.

First thing you have to do if you have not using it yet is to download firefox. Now here are the Add-ons that are helping me with my dropping everyday.

Adblock Plus - Block the annoying banners and ads. This will help you open the site faster.

How to use: As shown below.

Adblock Plus: Element Hiding Helper - Surely is a great helper, Fight the text ads! Element Hiding Helper is a companion extension for Adblock Plus meant to make creating element hiding rules easier

How to use: As shown Below.

Permatabs - Lock the tabs, turn the tabs into permanent tab; once you lock the tab you cannot close it with any click.

How to use:
  1. Open Powerdropping.com the right click on the tab then click Permanent tab ctrl+P.
  2. You can now start clicking to open at least 10 sites, wait till it's loads and then start dropping.
  3. Your right hand holding the mouse to drop, left hand then click ctrl+W to close the tab and then move to the next site.
  4. Do this until you finish click the first batch. Do this by batch (Depend with your connection speed).

Linky - Increase your power to handle links -- this is very useful tools if your using like powerdropping.

How to use:
  1. Open Powerdropping.com
  2. Highlight a few sites, then right click.
  3. Scroll down and click linky
  4. Click: Open Selected Links in Tabs
  5. Select the link you wish to open
  6. Open Selected links - wait until it all loads and start dropping.
  7. Then, Your right hand holding the mouse to drop, left hand then click ctrl+W to close the tab and then move to the next site.
If you work hard, you will be rewarded, Entrecarders will visit your blog, comment and even subscribe. If you didn't get comments try again next post; work hard with your post to make it more attractive and interesting so that you will get notice and kick ass. It's time to think big and show everyone that your blog is worth visiting, think that every Entrecarder that will drop their card in your site are potential subscriber.

Manage your Ads using Google Ad Manager-Request an Invitation to try

1 Comment Buzz Here
I first find out Google Ad Manager from jackbook.com got curious and visited the link. I have never used any software as Ad manager, so this is kind of new for me.
What is Google Ad Manager?
Google Ad Manager is a software where you can manage your Ads, inventory, traffic, ad delivery, booking, reporting and more features which you can't find from other ad manager software. This is very useful for Adsense and other bloggers Ads.

At the moment Google are only accepting by invitation, if you have not received any invitation and wanted to try their software you can request an invitation, Google then check your site and will determine if your site fits their beta launch then Google will contact you and give you an instruction of how to start your Google Ad Manager, If not they will keep your application for .

This is really great and easy way to track all your ads and can earn money effectively, why? Google Ad Manager can help you saves time and money, increase your sales efficiently.

I was reading the success story of Google Ad Manager and really like what i read, it shows how effective and easy to use their system is; would be a big help for monetization and a must for every sites.

If you are interested of applying and try the Google Ad Manager, You can Request an invitation here.

Complying the Updated Adsense Terms and Condition

3 comments Buzz Here
Google has updated their AdSense Terms and Condition, this is what i have noticed after i open my AdSense account to put my pin number they sent to me last week, Most of us failed to read this agreement and just click the "Agree" button without reading the long list of agreements (I plea Guilty for that).

Now all the bloggers/website owners that display the Google AdSense Ad must conform this agreement. Here's what on the new agreement that you have agreed upon without reading.

"You must have and abide by an appropriate privacy policy that clearly discloses that third parties may be placing and reading cookies on your user’s browser, or using web beacons to collect information, in the course of ads being served on your website. Your privacy policy should also include information about user options for cookie management."
Many may have questioned what is the used of this policy anyway, and if we are not going to comply to this agreement what is the consequence, that is what we don't know at the moment. I have read the Google Adsense support answer and if you want more further information about this matter you can read it here "What Changes Have you made to the the Terms and Condition".

If you have no idea how to put a private policy just copy and paste below and replace the red mark with your own Email and Blog URL:

Bloggers trackback

0 comments Buzz Here
Although many of us been blogging for so long we still not quite familiar with some terms used in the blogosphere. I will admit i am still a noob even though i have been blogging for almost a year now, But i am in progress i learn some tricks and i don't have the default template anymore, although i downloaded my template from jackbook.com i have added some widget using html instead of just javascript, i have changed the color of links, i have changed the Blockquote to make it look better i basically customized them and thanks to those bloggers that have shared their expertise and talent i learned a lot.

Did i say i am a noob? Yes truely is a noob, although i heard a lot about "trackback" and know exactly what it meant but i am still confuse of how to use them, and so i never use them. I only use the permalink of a certain article, thought it is going to ping back the author of the article, truly newbie aye! i am not ashame to admit that, i think it's much more better than pretending or be quite about that.

Anyway, i know you're thinking this is old but their is no old for learning -- So, this is what i have learned today; i have decided to discuss about this because i didn't think that i am alone in this world, their are some bloggers out their that are confused or not fully aware that this exist and how useful trackback is in our blog.

Trackback is an acknowledgement to the original author, many bloggers have written a really great content and we sometimes wanted to post our opinion in that matter but post it in our own blog then ping the origin of the post to indicate the worthiness of it's article. I see trackback is to communicate to the original source.

Movable Type, Wordpress etc...have already supported with trackback, blogspot in other hand have linkback it is very similar to trackback. I have here easy way of using trackback for bloggers using greasemonkey from firefox add-ons.

Here's how to install bloggers trackback in three easy steps:
  1. Download the Greasemonkey.
  2. Install the appropriate script - New Blogger use this Greasemonkey trackback Script and for Old blogger, use this script.
  3. Done, Open your bloggers dashboard create new post and you will see the trackback added, look like below.
Remember: When you put the link where you want to trackback, make sure you put "trackback" in the end of the permalink, Say you want to trackback this post, just copy and paste below:

http://earneasymoney-moneyrush.blogspot.com/2008/03/bloggers-trackback.html/trackback

If you are still confuse, just message me or For complete instruction/guide visit andy beards - blogger-trackback.

Now this is my very first test. I am loving every single thing i learned online and i hope for those who are like me who love to learn and who are like me that is not practice the trackback yet, i hope you learn and find my post helping.

Update: It's working and if you see below i am the 10th who trackback or pinged ande beard's post.
It's very useful aswell as handy for bloggers, you can now easily ping the original content and give the worthiness that the original author deserves.

I have listed below the ways you can drop 300 in less than 30minutes. (Depend with your computer speed, of course). I am not going to give you a lot of chit-chat, we all want quick and easy, so here's how.

Powerdropping.com - I like this...Consist of 300 fast loading sites who positioned their Entrecard above the fold to make it more faster and easier. all you have to do is lock in and click, click, click. Mask sure you Read the instructions and for more understanding.

Here is my tips though, Note: In the instruction of powerdropping you are ask to download firefox permatabs to lock in your tab and makes more faster.

Other way of doing this is by using linky - linky will increase your power to handle links which is another great add-ons from firefox, this will open by batch in two clicks and make your dropping more easier.

After you download linky and restarted your firefox, Here's what to do using linky:

  3. Scroll down and click linky
  4. Click: Open Selected Links in Tabs
  5. Select the link you wish to open
  6. Open Selected links - wait until it all loads and start dropping.
  7. Then, Your right hand holding the mouse to drop, left hand then click ctrl+W to close the tab and then move to the next site.
I hope this helps you. With me because i am a mom and have two cutie to look after and family to take care...i open a few batch then leave it for a bit -- I start doing my laundry or cooking, cleaning anything that i need to be done aside from playing the kids then went back to the computer, it's done loading all the sites then all i have to do now is drop, drop, drop.

I enjoy it and i still have time to research for my next post etc....I share this because i know there are mothers like me that struggles to keep up with entrecard but at the same time wants to drive traffic to their site so i am sure this is such a big help.

Now that no follow has been removed, Sip that link juice

8 comments Buzz Here
Have you noticed, that most blog site have "U Comment, I follow" in their sidebar? i guess so, that means this blogger's have removed their "no follow" attribute that's been placed by default in their blog, this is to prevent the spam comment; but this is no longer effective or shall i say not really effective.

What this means to you?
If you leave comment in the bloggers post you get link back to your site or shall we call it link juice, as we all know link is the major key to get visibility and more visibility is higher page rank. I have blogged about this a few months ago "way to be discovered by search engine" link is counted as vote to your page.

What to blogger should do?
Leave comments. But, Not everyone that have removed their no follow attribute have placed a "U comment, I follow" badge. so the question comes down to how are we going to know if there blog is no follow free. Follow this:
  • Click post a comment
  • Right Click on the the title of the person that have left a comment, then click properties.
  • You will see the relation: no follow -- meaning the no follow has been removed.
Even the no follow has been removed by most bloggers, that doesn't mean that you can spam. The website owner still in control and will remove or reject your comment, that means your time and effort of leaving a comment is wasted.

Rules of the thumb?
  1. Read the Post, that way you can share your opinion and know what to comment.
  2. Do, leave a proper comment. Do not Follow this example:
"I really like your post, if you like you can visit my site at www.mysite.com"

This is a BIG no, no. This is clearly spamming, why not give a little time of reading a post because you will get a link juice in return (You gain something, which counted towards your page rank).

I don't have problem sharing a little link juice but do your part, i don't think that's too much to ask.

Google Cache Link

1 Comment Buzz Here
Have you checked if Google have Cached your site?

I installed an add on plug-in called Seoquake which you can get download from seoquake.com or direct from you firefox, you can find more information about the site, very handy for bloggers and site owners. I've noticed today that my sites Cached: n/a -- I thought, It's strange because just yesterday i see the latest date they have indexed my site.

For more understanding, here What Google Cache about:
"Google takes a snapshot of each page examined as it crawls the web and caches these as a back-up in case the original page is unavailable. If you click on the "Cached" link, you will see the web page as it looked when we indexed it. The cached content is the content Google uses to judge whether this page is a relevant match for your query.

When the cached page is displayed, it will have a header at the top which serves as a reminder that this is not necessarily the most recent version of the page. Terms that match your query are highlighted on the cached version to make it easier for you to see why your page is relevant.

The "Cached" link will be missing for sites that have not been indexed, as well as for sites whose owners have requested we not cache their content."

Source: Google

Google uses many datacenters if you want to check how you site visit www.yourcache.com/ and you will see how your website indexed by different Google datacenter.

This is what it look after i type; cache: MY URL

We're sorry...

... but your query looks similar to automated requests from a computer virus or spyware application. To protect our users, we can't process your request right now.

We'll restore your access as quickly as possible, so try again soon. In the meantime, if you suspect that your computer or network has been infected, you might want to run a virus checker or spyware remover to make sure that your systems are free of viruses and other spurious software.

If you're continually receiving this error, you may be able to resolve the problem by deleting your Google cookie and revisiting Google. For browser-specific instructions, please consult your browser's online support center.

We apologize for the inconvenience, and hope we'll see you again on Google.

403 forbidden is what i got after i search the latest cache of my site...i am learning and this is just what i have noticed i wonder if there is a problem from Googles or if there is something i have done wrong.

what about you have you notice anything? Does it happen to you aswell? have a quick check.

Earn Easy Money Selling Other People’s Products

0 comments Buzz Here
A lot of people are now getting into online businesses and online marketing either to supplement their “real world” income or for it to become their primary source of income. Why? Because online marketing just provides them a lot of benefits!

First, you can reach just about anybody in the world who has Internet access if you market your products online. That means a wider market for you, which can translate to larger profits. Second, setting up an online business requires only a fraction of the cost required to set up an actual business establishment, which means a lot of savings for the business owner.

Another aspect that has attracted a lot of people towards online marketing is the fact that one doesn’t have to have his own products to get started. In online marketing, one can start making a lot of money just by selling, or even by just trying to sell, other people’s products. And getting started with this kind of marketing strategy is actually quite easy. All that one needs to do is to set up an agreement with an online retailer or merchant, and after everything is settled, one can immediately start making money by selling the merchant’s or the retailer’s products.

Incidentally, the most popular and the fastest growing method of selling other people’s products online is affiliate marketing. Affiliate marketing, in its simplest definition, is a relationship between an online merchant or retailer, who has products to sell, and his affiliates, who are willing to promote the merchant’s product on their website.

In a typical affiliate marketing set up, the merchant provides his affiliates with banners and text ads that links to his site. The affiliates will then get these ads posted on their website and they get paid whenever traffic or sales is directed to the merchant’s website. Affiliates are often paid on commission basis, although other online merchants would opt to pay a fixed fee for the affiliate’s compensation.

Starting to make money online with affiliate marketing is relatively quick and easy. All that one has to do is to sign up as an affiliate for an online company that offers affiliate programs. An alternative method, and usually an easier one, is to sign up as a member of an affiliate network—a network that hosts a variety of affiliate programs for different online merchants or retailers. Signing up is usually free, although other companies and networks may require you to pay a particular fee. Such fees, however, are made as payment for additional services that the company may render, like providing you with tools and assistance to jumpstart your online business.

When you sign up with an affiliate marketing program, you are usually required to fill out a form containing information about yourself. Some affiliate programs may also require you to present the URL of your website and describe its contents. This will allow the retailers to verify that you actually have a website with contents that are relevant to their products. Some affiliate programs, however, won’t require you to have a website. After filling out the form and all, you are then allowed to choose the affiliate programs you want to promote.

After signing up with an affiliate program and being an actual affiliate, you are now ready to start making a lot of money by selling other people’s product online. How do you make money? There are actually a number of ways for you to earn money as an affiliate, and most of these ways depends on the type of affiliate marketing program you’ve gotten into.

Many affiliate marketing programs compensate their affiliates in either of three ways: pay-per-click (PPC), pay-per-sale (PPS), or pay-per-lead (PPL). In pay-per-click affiliate marketing, the affiliate is paid whenever he directs traffic to the merchant’s site. PPS and PPL affiliate marketing programs work rather differently. In PPS, the affiliate only gets paid when his referral converts into an actual sale. In typical PPS affiliate programs, the affiliate would usually get 15% to 20% commission for each conversion. PPL affiliate programs work the same way, although affiliates are paid a fixed fee whenever his referral converts into a lead for the company.

Some affiliate marketing programs are two-tier programs, wherein the affiliate is also allowed to recommend other affiliates to the merchant. In such affiliate programs, the affiliate would not only be paid for the traffic or sales that he would direct to the merchant’s site but also for the traffic or sales directed by the affiliates who signed up with the program through his recommendation.

Yet another way of earning more profits with affiliate marketing is through residual affiliate programs. Residual affiliate programs are affiliate programs where the affiliate gets paid a number of times for as long as the merchant keeps the customer the affiliate has referred to his site. One form of residual program gets the affiliate paid a commission every time the referred customer purchases something on the merchant’s site. Another form of residual affiliate program gets the affiliate paid a percentage every month for as long as the company keeps the referred customer.

With a lot of options available and a lot of ways to earn money, affiliate marketing is undoubtedly the most popular and the easiest way to make money by selling other people’s products online. As to how much money one can get from affiliate marketing actually depends on the affiliate. A dedicated and hardworking affiliate would certainly get more from the program compared to those affiliates who would simply sign up and forget about the program later.
